Building Permits & Inspections is a division of Community Services. They review all permit applications to see that they meet the requirements and codes adopted by the Village. They are responsible for inspecting at the determined intervals, the construction as described in the permit to verify that it is built according to the approved plans. They also coordinate feedback from all departments and maintain all records associated with the permit from application to occupancy.
Palatine Village Hall will begin relocating on Wednesday September 24, 2014 and continuing until Friday September 26, 2014. We anticipate being open in our temporary location on Monday September 29, 2014. Our temporary location will be 150 W. Wilson St. Palatine IL. This will be our location for approximately one year.
During this relocation period we will have limited access to permit files/information. It is most likely that we will not be able to do much in the way of building permit processing during this time period. Therefore, if you have any critical scheduling that requires you to pick up permits or drop off permit information we recommend you do so prior to September 24th or after September 29th at our new location.
