Water/Sewer Billing Information
Utility Billing (water, sewer, and refuse collection) is completed by the Finance Department staff. Billing is made bi-monthly for residential customers and monthly for commercial/industrial customers and includes a basic user charge and a flood control fee and other charges and fees specific to individual accounts. The Village receives Lake Michigan Water from the Northwest Water Commission via the City of Evanston. Well water is not used in the Village water system although deep wells are maintained as back up water sources. You can pay your Utility Bill in a variety of ways...
To have your Utility Bill payments automatically deducted from your checking or savings account on the bill's due date complete and submit an "Authorization for Direct Debit", please click here.
Utility Bills can also be paid by mail, to Village Hall, 200 E. Wood Street, Palatine, IL 60067; in person at the Finance counter in Village Hall; or dropped off in one of two drop boxes. A walk-up drop box is located on the second floor of the Village Hall and a drive-up drop box is located adjacent to the Village Hall building near the Park District tennis courts.
