Welcome to the Information Technology (IT) Department. The IT department is responsible for the technology used through-out the Village of Palatine facilities and vehicles. Services include phone, networking, wireless communications, information services, backup & disaster recovery, and other technology.
Currently the Village utilizes a combination of leased lines, in-ground fiber, and RF links to provide network and phone services to the Village facilities. Servers, desktops computers and other equipment are a variety of vendors, enabling the Village to provide cost effective computing.
