Our Street Team provides a comprehensive maintenance program for streets, parkways and sidewalks. The Village maintains 180 centerline miles of street as well as 246 miles of sidewalk.
This team repairs potholes, fills cracks, does pavement patching, milling and paving, as well as, sweeping, shouldering and maintaining parkways, and provides snow and ice control. The Traffic Division does pavement striping, gas light maintenance and the installation and maintenance of all signs on the Village maintained streets. The entire Street Division runs the Leaf Collection Program in the fall. This team also works with engineering to resurface our Village streets, implement the Village’s 50/50 Sidewalk Replacement Program and the Village’s Hazardous Sidewalk Program.
