Celebrating 25 years!

The Palatine Farmers’ Market is celebrating its 25th year as a farmer/vendor market where the farmer brings his own produce to sell.  He knows his products from seed to maturity, picking vine ripened produce within 24 hours of the Market to ensure it is the freshest, most flavorful produce you can buy, much of which is certified organic and non-GMO.  Just ask!  New this year is gluten free granola in three flavors.

In addition to locally grown fruits and vegetables, herbs, mushrooms, cut flowers, hanging baskets and honey, you will find specialty oils, spices, sauces, pickles, jams, cherry specialties from Michigan, coffee, tea, cookies, bakery goods, pastas and natural hand-crafted pet-treats, soaps and lotions, pottery and hand-painted greeting cards.  New this season are fresh fruit smoothies—nothing but fruit!

Cooked on site, discover a variety of mini donuts, kettle corn (non-GMO corn) and vegan burgers prepared by the Eating Well.  The Palatine Market is proud to offer a wide variety of gourmet cheeses and Hasselmann Family Farms’ fresh eggs and organically-raised, hormone-, pesticide- and antibiotic-free beef, pork, lamb, chicken and sausage.

Come to the Palatine Farmers’ Market every Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Train Station parking lot, Wood and Brockway Streets.  Enjoy the food, friends, music and summer setting.  It’s beautiful!
