The 26th Summer Palatine Farmers’ Market is now open!
On Saturday, June 4 Palatine Farmers' Market supports the Relay for Life Teams. The variety of produce is expanding each week--everything fresh from the field (picked within 24 hours of the Market) radishes, spinach, kale, Swiss chard and spring lettuces.
This is one of the last weeks for asparagus and rhubarb, with strawberries expected June 11. Jimmy has returned from vacation and will have his hot Bag o' Donuts this Saturday.
Jordan will have early field grown tomatoes from southern Illinois, only if they meet his high standards and yours.
Come to meet Lukan who brings 7 varieties of micro-greens--power charged nutritious young sprouts: radish, pea shoots, red giant mustard, kale, arugula, broccoli and sunflower. All offering a spicy, green, peppery, or mile flavor to salads and soups along with numerous health benefits.
Fill you own garden with locally nurtured vegetable plants, including a wide variety of tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, zucchinis, watermelons, squash and herbs.
Also find colorful hanging baskets, and a wide array of potted flowers and foliage.
All the non-weather-dependent products will be available: breads, cheese, croissants, coffee, condiments, cookies, donuts, dressings, eggs, honey, jams, jellies, kettle corn,
meats, poultry, pet treats, pickles, vegan burgers and knife sharpening while you shop.
Thank everyone for supporting the Palatine Farmers’ Market by contributing to the Raffle Basket brimming with products from every vendor.
