District 5 - Kollin Kozlowski
Background Information
Kollin is a life-long resident of the northwest suburbs. He grew up in Elmwood Park and attended Holy Cross High School in River Grove. He attended Northern Illinois University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Public Administration and a minor in Business Administration. He continued on to Roosevelt University where he earned a Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. He currently works in risk management and contract negotiations for Accenture; the leading global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company which helps clients become high performing businesses and governments.
Previously, Kollin held positions at Motorola and British Petroleum. His roles encompassed a finance discipline which included Financial Planner, Controller, Procurement Manager, Global Category Manager and Commercial Director. In these roles, he has been responsible for Budgets, Forecasting, and Leadership Development.
For the last 11 years, he has lived in Palatine with his wife, Marjie, and 3 children, Gabriela, Luke, and Grant. Enjoying the school systems of Lake Louise, Winston Campus, and beginning in Aug ’11 Palatine High School. Kollin is also heavily involved with Palatine youth sports as Vice-President of Palatine Amateur Football Association (PAFA) and Treasurer-Elect for Northwest Travelers Baseball (NWT), along with coaching at many levels.
