Palatine Liquor License Information

The following information is created to provide a Liquor License Establishment with general information regarding the rules and regulations for holder of a Palatine Liquor License. It is the duty of each holder of a Palatine Liquor License to be aware of the full regulations for the Palatine Alcoholic Beverage Code (Chapter 3 of the Palatine Code of Ordinances) and the State of Illinois Liquor Control Act (235 ILCS 5/1).

Palatine Alcoholic Beverage Seller and Server Permit Information
The Village enforces its ordinances requiring certain enumerated employees of liquor establishments to have a Palatine Alcoholic Beverage Seller and Server Permit. Compliance with the Ordinance is mandatory.
For all establishments, employees acting as manager, assistant manager, bartenders and/or bouncers, servers, and check-out clerks are required to have a valid Permit. New employees must secure a Palatine Alcoholic Beverage Seller and Server Permit within 30 days of employment
Each establishment must maintain a list of all employees which are required to hold an Alcoholic Beverage Seller and Server Permit. The list should have the employee’s name, date of hire and the expiration date of the Alcoholic Beverage Seller and Server Permit.
Alcoholic Beverage Seller and Server Permit are valid for only 3 years.
