The Palatine Police Department is continuing with our efforts to keep vehicle drivers and passengers safe through aggressive traffic enforcement measures. With the assistance of grant funding provided by the Illinois Department of Transportation, we are participating in the St. Patrick’s Holiday Traffic Safety Crackdown. Through March 21st, we will be saturating the roadways with officers focusing on impaired drivers, occupant protection, and speeding. These are found to be the greatest contributing factors in serious injury and fatal motor vehicle crashes. Read More

The Palatine Police Department is dedicated to keeping our roadways safe through aggressive traffic enforcement measures. With the assistance of grant funding provided by the Illinois Department of Transportation, we will be participating in the Super Bowl Holiday Traffic Safety Crackdown. During the next few weeks, the Palatine Police Department will be saturating the roadways with officers focused on motorists driving impaired, not wearing seat belts, and speeding. These violations have proven to be the greatest contributing factors in serious injury and fatal motor vehicle crashes on our roadways. Read More
