The following food safety training modules have been designed to assist food establishments in preventing critical violations, which may lead to food-borne illness. Food establishments may use this information as a refresher or to supplement employee food safety training.
Upon request, food establishments may schedule a training session for their staff, which will be conducted by a Sanitarian. Training sessions generally last 30-60 minutes depending on the training module. Please note that such training does not count towards the Illinois Department of Public Health Certified Food Service Sanitation Manager requirements.
