PEMA Special Teams

Fire Rehab Team
The mission of the Fire Rehab Team is to provide rehabilitation services to firefighters and other responders engaged in emergency operations and training exercises. Members provide medical monitoring, cooling, warming, hydration, rest and recovery for emergency crews.

Disaster Animal Response Team
This team's role is to provide humane rescue, sheltering and reunification for household animals in need during emergencies. 

Medical Reserve Corps
Their mission is to improve the health and safety of the community by organizing and utilizing public health, medical and administrative volunteers. Volunteers provide important medical care during special events and supplement medical care during emergencies. 

Auxillary Communication Team
This group is comprised of amateur radio operators with an interest in response technology. The group supports the emergency communication networks within Palatine including the emergency warning sirens, and Palatine's emergency radio station (AM1660).

Palatine Emergency Response Team
The team's role is that of a "second responder" acting in a support capacity to the Village of Palatine's Police Department, Fire Department, and Public Works.
