Early Voting Site Selected for Palatine, Illinois

Vote Button

The Cook County Clerk’s Office and the Village of Palatine are pleased to announce that Early Voting will take place in Palatine at 150 W. Wilson Street. This building most recently served as the temporary Village Hall for the Village of Palatine.

Early voting:  October 19 - November 2

Hours:  Monday through Friday  8:30 AM - 7 PM

Saturday and Sunday    9 AM - 5 PM

Note: A secure ballot drop box will be located at the Early Voting Site (150 W. Wilson Street) and will be available only during Early Voting hours.

Due to anticipated record voter turnout this November, and other logistical issues at the current Village Hall which has served as the Early Voting site in the past, it was necessary to identify an alternative location. The Village provided the Clerk’s Office with several alternative sites and the Clerk has selected 150 W. Wilson Street.

The property will provide the voting public with:

• Increased voting kiosks

• Adequate space to maintain social distancing

• Full handicap accessibility

• Dedicated and proximate parking

• Dedicated public rest room facilities

• Dedicated points of entry and exit

Staff from Clerk Yarbrough’s Office and the Village of Palatine have been working cooperatively over the past several weeks to identify a single use facility that will provide a positive voting experience for those choosing to do early voting in Palatine. The new site meets all the needs of the County and the Clerk’s Office is appreciative of the efforts of the Village of Palatine in finding a great location to serve the residents.  For more information please check out the County Clerk’s website at
