  1. Annual Cemetery Walk - Hillside Cemetery

    May 20, 2018, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

    Enjoy guided tours of the cemetery as actors play the role of Palatine residents from Palatine’s past. Tours start every 10 minutes with the last tour beginning at 3:30 p.m. Tickets for admission will be available at the Cemetery on the day of the event. All funds collected will be donated to the Cemetery Restoration. This year's theme is 'Brothers and Sisters.'

  2. Palatine Jaycees Scholarship Applications Due

    The Palatine Jaycees are seeking applicants to compete for three $3,000 scholarships that will be presented at their June 21 general meeting at the American Legion Hall (122 W. Palatine Road, Palatine) as part of their annual leadership scholarship program. Applications can be obtained from the Palatine Jaycee website at www.palatinejaycees.org/scholarships/, by email at scholarships@palatinejaycees.org, or by calling (847) 604-0288. Applications are also available from guidance counselors at Fremd, Palatine, and St. Viator High Schools. Mailed entries must be received by May 20 at Palatine Jaycees Scholarship Committee, Post Office Box 1517, Palatine, IL 60078-1517. Applications may be dropped off in person on April 19 during the Jaycee monthly meeting between 7:30 - 8:30 PM at the American Legion Hall (122 W. Palatine Road, Palatine). In order to apply, applicants must write a two-page essay about their leadership skills within the community, church, and/or school.
