5th Congressional District Republican Candidate Forum

Republican candidates for 5th Congressional District Race in March 17th primary present their positions in person.
The League of Women Voters of the Palatine, Barrington and Schaumburg Areas (LWVPA) present these forums so voters can hear directly from candidates prior to the March 17, 2026 primary election. Confirmed candidates are Tommy Hanson, Kimball Ladien and Barry Wicker. All forums are run by trained, nonpartisan moderators and questions are vetted by a panel of experts. The forums give each candidate equal time for an opening and closing statement as well as time to answer the same question. They take place in person and voters are encouraged to submit questions when they register.
Registration is open at LWVPA website. The forums will be recorded and available at VOTE411.org and the LWVPA website.
