Licenses are valid for one year from date of application. Each year your license will expire on the same day and month.

Rental inspections are conducted Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Our offices are closed on the weekend.

Only the owner or an agent designated on the rental dwelling license profile may meet with our Inspector at the inspection appointment. If you wish to designate an agent to represent you, you must complete and return the 'Contact Change Form' prior to the inspection appointment.

If you wish to designate an agent to represent you, you must add this agent to the rental dwelling license profile prior to registering for the seminar by completing and returning the 'Contact Change Form.' Please note that your tenant cannot represent you for this requirement.

Rental licenses are e-mailed at the time of issuance to all e-mail addresses included on the rental license profile. You can also obtain your rental license through your CSS (Citizen Self Service) portal.
