District 1 - Tim Millar
Tim has been a Palatine resident since 1993 and has lived in the area all of his life. He is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with minors in Business Administration and Mathematics.
Tim is an Entrepreneur and has been the president of both private technology companies and the U.S. division of a publicly traded international technology company. He has had business dealings in more than 15 countries. He is involved in real estate, both residential and commercial, and has been a licensed real estate agent.
Tim is an active participant in the community. In 2005 he was elected to the D15 School Board of Education where he served for 8 years. As an elected member of the Board of Education, he served as President for 3 years. In addition he has been a PTA member, a FHS Booster Club member, and has coached baseball, basketball, and soccer. He is a member of the Palatine Men’s Civic Club and he currently represents Palatine on the O’Hare Noise Compatibility Commission to help limit the amount of noise pollution on the surrounding O’Hare communities.
He is happily married and is the proud parent of three children.
