District 3 - Doug Myslinski

Doug graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture. He currently works as a Senior Designer for a golf course design and construction firm. His desire and passion to give back to the Palatine Community has resulted in him serving in many different avenues. Doug’s community involvement consisted of serving on the Plan Commission (2010-2015) prior to being elected Councilman of the 3rd District and President of the Pepper Tree Farms Home Owners Association (2003 to 2008), all while coaching many sports including football, baseball, basketball and softball through the Palatine Park District for more than eight years. Doug’s unforgiving efforts led to him being named Volunteer of the Year in 2012 by the Palatine Park District for his efforts with PAFA.  Doug’s efforts as a Councilman include listening to the people and businesses of Palatine and understanding their wants and needs while ensuring the safety, health and welfare of everyone.

Doug and his wife currently reside in Pepper Tree Farms of Palatine.  Their two children live in the city of Chicago.
