Utility Billing

Utility billing (water, sewer, and refuse collection) is completed by the Finance Department staff. Billing is made bi-monthly for residential customers and monthly for commercial/industrial customers and includes a basic user charge and a flood control fee and other charges and fees specific to individual accounts. The Village receives Lake Michigan Water from the Northwest Water Commission via the City of Evanston. Well water is not used in the Village water system although deep wells are maintained as back up water sources.

Paying your Utility Bill

The Village of Palatine offers a variety of methods for making payment on a utility bill.

Direct Debit

To have your utility bill payments automatically deducted from your checking or savings account on the bill's due date, complete and submit an Authorization for Direct Debit application (PDF).

Utility Billing Online Payment Portal

The Village of Palatine offers access to an online payment portal, which allows users to pay bills online and monitor their water usage. Users will be required to create an account for access to their Utility Bills.
